About Me
I am currently a sophomore at Northeastern University, and a candidate for a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. I am a moderately skilled programmer, with experience in Java, HTML, CSS, and two Lisp derivatives (ACL2s and Racket). I am interested in mobile development for the iOS and Android systems as well as web application development. My current personal project is a multiplayer card game written in Node.JS. I chose Euchre, both because it is my favorite card game and also becuase its rules pose a few challenges to programming. Though it is still currently in the very early stages of development, I am planning to use HTML5 canvas for the front-end graphics and Socket.io for communication between the client and server..
I am have built two basic Android apps. One is to benefit the student population at Northeastern - an app to reformat the Northeastern student portal for use on mobile devices. The other is an app to keep track of scores for games of any sort. As I am both a card and board game enthusiast, I often have come across the need for a simple way to keep track of my score for a variety of games. I made ScoreKeeper to fill this gap. They can be found in my portfolio.
I have designed websites for two businesses, which I still update and maintain, and one of which I developed an additional mobile component. They also can be found in my portfolio.
